If there’s one thing we Brits love to talk about… it’s potholes.
(Closely followed by the weather, roast dinners and arguing about jam or cream first on a scone 😅.)
But on a recent two-hour drive to Shrewsbury, potholes were more than just a talking point – they became a real challenge.
Billy Pinnington, who works out of EMED’s Campbell Road base in Stoke, was transporting a patient with right-sided weakness. According to crewmate Troy Littleton, Billy carefully navigated around every single pothole on the lengthy journey, ensuring a smooth, safe journey for both of them, especially the patient.
It’s everyday actions like these – thoughtful, quiet and full of care – that show the heart of what we do at EMED Group.
Our colleagues go above and beyond, despite the state of the roads – they go the extra mile – and we see it. Representing all of our core values, that kind of care deserves a shoutout. Well done Billy!
