How we can help
Our patient transport service supports our NHS customers with non-emergency patient transport services (NEPTs) and high-dependency transport – the types of journeys that don’t fall under the remit of 999.
EMED Patient Care is one of the largest providers of Non-Emergency Patient Transport Services (NEPTS) in the UK. Operating out of over 50 bases with more than 1,200 vehicles and 2,800 front-line staff nationwide, we provide an unparalleled breadth of coverage that ensures continuity, reliability and cost-effectiveness. We are also supported by a vastly experienced senior leadership team.

We’ll always ensure the most appropriate level of medical care is provided to each patient and they remain safe and comfortable throughout their journey with us. Needs vary so we make sure that each of our crews have the right level of skills and training to meet the requirements of the patients we transfer. As a minimum, every crew colleague is trained in first aid and basic life support and is experienced in safe patient handling. Naturally, all of our colleagues have their backgrounds checked using the Disclosure and Barring Service.
