Headed by the ever-dedicated Jimmy Sommerville, our Head of Fleet, this team goes above and beyond to ensure our vehicles are safe, efficient and ready to serve. Their work doesn’t just keep us on the road – it keeps our promises to patients and communities across the UK.
From routine maintenance to quick responses when something unexpected happens, their expertise supports our operations every single day. The Fleet team also plays a key role in mobilisations, ensuring that vehicles are ordered, prepped and deployed in the right place at the right time when new services begin.

This weekend’s Storm Darragh was a perfect example of the challenges our Fleet team helps us overcome. With high winds, fallen trees, floods and treacherous road conditions across the UK, they stepped up to keep our vehicles operational and our crews safe.
