The EMED Foundation is a charitable organisation set up in 2024 by EMED Group, a business committed to pro-actively improving the wellbeing of our communities by enabling access to vital health and care services.

Foundation goals

The EMED Foundation was launched to support those facing financial hardship and to give back to the communities we serve. It’s aims are threefold:

Supporting EMED colleagues

The foundation will provide a vital safety net to EMED colleagues facing financial hardship due to injury, illness or the effects of other unforeseen circumstances.

Supporting local communities

The foundation will support our local communities, providing vital funding for local community groups and local charities that are important to our teams.

Supporting employment

The foundation will help long-term unemployed and those with disabilities or other disadvantages to find rewarding and meaningful work.

Foundation Leadership

The EMED Foundation will support people in need, both within and outside of EMED Group and acts as an entirely separate entity.

As such, the charity is led by an independent Board of Trustees and will be maintained through the fundraising efforts of the teams at EMED Group.

EMED Community Care provides specialist SEND and community transport services to local authorities, combined authorities and councils across England and Wales.
