At EMED, we’re committed to continuous improvement and learning. And what better way to spark discussions than by sharing the experiences of our frontline crews!
Operations colleagues across our sites have been taking part in our “Back to Greens” initiative, gaining first-hand experience of the day-to-day highs and lows of a day in the life of our frontline colleagues. The immersive training and on-the-road experience gives them valuable first-hand insights into the lives of both the patients we serve and an appreciation of the skilled and dedicated crews who provide their care.
We kicked things off with team members at our Shrewsbury and Carlton Forest bases where Operations Managers, Heads of Operations, and even our own Group Chief Operations Officer attended training to prepare them to accompany PTS crews out on the road.
Mike Woodall, Our Chief Operations Officer and a fellow participant in the “Back to Greens” initiative said: “Initiatives such as this really reflect how we work as one team at EMED, and that we listen, learn and adapt to improve the business, each other and ourselves. We’re looking forward to rolling this out to all our other sites over the next year.”
