Each year, EMED colleagues across the UK come together to mark Remembrance Sunday and Armistice Day (11 November), taking time to pause, reflect and honour those who have served, past and present, for the freedoms we hold today.
Many of our colleagues have proudly served in the Armed Forces and we stand with them, remembering the fallen and recognising the continued service and sacrifice of veterans and their families.
This weekend, wreaths were laid at Remembrance Services across the country, including in Shrewsbury, where Jack Stackhouse, Craig Bennett and Simon Walker represented EMED.
As Jack shared on LinkedIn:
“Remembrance Sunday and Armistice Day, we take time to pause, reflect, and honour all those who have served past and present for the freedoms we hold today.
I’m proud to stand alongside veterans, serving members, and colleagues across our organisation as we come together to lay wreaths in Shrewsbury and at several sites across the country.
It’s a moment of unity, respect, and gratitude and a reminder of the importance of supporting one another, both in service and in our daily work.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them.”
At EMED, we’re proud of our colleagues who have served and grateful for the values of teamwork, resilience and compassion they bring to our work every day.
Lest we forget.
