Meet Havoc, a seven-year-old Husky cross Lurcher who has become a much-loved member of our Somerset team.

Visiting twice a week with Simon Maddock (Regional Senior Operations Manager, Cornwall and Somerset – Patient Care), Havoc brings doggy cuddles, comfort, and a bit of fun to our Wellington base.

Recent appraisals record that he is a very good boy and is motivated by treats and tummy rubs. Despite his name, human colleagues at Wellington have noticed Havoc’s positive influence at the base.

“It’s nice to have Havoc here in the office. He comes and says good morning to us all when he arrives before settling down, making himself comfortable with no hassles or dramas. Havoc seems happy when he’s here; his tail always wags when you talk to him, and he is a calming influence for the team.”

Canine cuddles come at a price, and colleagues must watch their lunches when Havoc is on shift. However, the ‘cheese tax’ is a price worth paying for such a valued team member!
