We are incredibly proud to announce that EMED Group has donated three of our ambulances to support the ongoing Ukrainian war effort. We can now confirm that the vehicles have been successfully transported to Ukraine and allocated to their respective frontline units.

The initiative was overseen by Alex Kustovskyi – a Ukrainian national living in London – who petitioned EMED Group for the donation of vehicles.

Alex (who works for Cairngorm Capital) then coordinated the collection of the three ambulances from Juan Soriano (EMED Group’s UK Fleet Manager) at Redhill in Surrey. The vehicles were repainted in military green in preparation for frontline service.

With the assistance of his Ukrainian volunteers, Alex orchestrated the urgent delivery of the ambulances to Ukraine. Once in the country, the Favbet Foundation, a Ukrainian charity, ensured that all three vehicles were distributed to the units most in urgent need of evacuation support.

One ambulance is stationed at the brigade defending the Kharkiv region, another in the Donetsk region near Avdiivka, and the third is in the Zaporizhzhia region. These vehicles play a critical role in providing first-response medical aid to wounded soldiers and facilitating their evacuation from the yellow zone of the frontline, located 2-5km from the front.

Alex expressed his confidence that these vehicles will save dozens of lives, praising EMED Group’s commitment to supporting the ongoing efforts in Ukraine. EMED Group’s Chief Operating Officer, Mike Woodall, echoed the sentiment, saying, “I am very proud of the company’s ability to contribute to such a vital cause.”
