EMED Courier Services launches its new service for North West London Pathology (NWLP) today, the 1st of October 2026. NWLP is hosted by Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.
The service provides pathology logistics 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, predominantly across north west London and surrounding areas. It includes scheduled and ad hoc collections and deliveries, temperature controlled transport and nationwide delivery where required.
Our couriers transport consignments in secure bags with individual barcodes, supporting tracking from collection to delivery. The service also uses temperature controlled vehicles and TracIT360, a tracking and inventory management system that records information about collections and deliveries, including dates, times and locations.
This is the first phase of the contract, with a further phase planned for April 2027. We look forward to working with NWLP and supporting the movement of pathology samples between collection points and laboratories.
