Mike Woodall, EMED Group’s Chief Operating Officer, hit the road last month, working a busy shift with our Patient Care crews in Homerton as they geared up for pre-Christmas hospital discharges.

Mike, alongside other colleagues in operations, has been taking part in our “Back to Greens” initiative, gaining first-hand experience of the day-to-day highs and lows of our frontline colleagues.

Reflecting on his first day on the road, Mike said, “I found the day of great value, and it reinforced the respect I have for the crucial role our frontline staff perform day in, day out. I would also comment on the very strong feeling of being a team and working together.”

Special thanks to the crews in Homerton for showing Mike the ropes.

Stay tuned for more exploits from Mike and the rest of the Operations Team as they head “Back to Greens”!
