EMED Group has successfully launched a Renal Patient Transport Service in South Yorkshire. The service is operated by EMED’s Patient Care division and is a patient transport service for non-urgent, planned renal journeys.
EMED Group is delighted to announce the launch of a new renal patient transport service in South Yorkshire. This service is designed to provide seamless transportation for renal patients between home, dialysis, and healthcare facilities, ensuring safe and timely access to dialysis and healthcare services.
This service is another testament to EMED Group’s commitment to providing comprehensive, high-quality healthcare transport that caters to the community’s needs. Safe and reliable transportation of patients to and from appointments ensures that they can receive the care they need on time and without unnecessary stress or discomfort.

EMED’s renal patient transport service commenced in South Yorkshire on the 1st of June 2024 and operates from its main site in Thurcroft, Rotherham, involving 30 specially adapted ambulances and 70 staff.
